Barista

Job Summary:
Our client is looking for a skilled and passionate Barista to join his team. The ideal candidate will be an expert in crafting high-quality coffee and beverages, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean, inviting café environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, in accordance with recipes and customer preferences.
• Operate and maintain coffee equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, and brewers.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, seating area, and workstations.
• Restock inventory, including coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, as needed.
• Process payments accurately using the restaurant’s point-of-sale system.
• Adhere to health and safety standards to ensure the quality and safety of all beverages and snacks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold the restaurant’s standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and an understanding of different coffee varieties.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
